Devinci’s history
Devinci was founded under the name Da Vinci in Quebec in 1987. A few years later, it was purchased and renamed Devinci. After the purchase, the brand expanded into a global company and stood out for its aluminum manufacturing ability. They developed a custom heat treatment process in 1994, leading to success as a top player in aluminum MTB frames. They carved out a spot in the gravity and freeriding scene with the Devinci Ollie and used that success to build momentum with high-end racing bikes.
By the mid-2000s, Devinci was a regular name at the World Cup. They are still the sponsor of the Devinci Global Racing Team, which competes professionally in downhill and enduro races. The team has taken home multiple World Cup wins. The brand also sponsors Devinci Development Racing, which is dedicated to developing youth talent and pushing North American MTB racing to the next level. Devinci is a company that cares about the success of Canadian trail riding as a whole.

Devinci mountain bikes
As a brand that has seen success at the highest level, Devinci offers some of the fastest trail bikes in the world that stay fast on mixed surfaces. They span from cross-country hardtail to downhill bomber with everything in between. These are the bikes that have taken home World Cup wins and are used by the top Devinci athletes.
- Devinci Troy: The Troy is available in three models: a short-travel aluminum model, an all-trail aluminum, and an all-trail carbon. The short-travel version features 130mm of rear shock travel and 140mm on the suspension fork compared to 150mm and 160mm on the all-trail version. You also have the option between 29-inc, 27.5-inch, and mixed wheels. The frame includes a Geo-Saver flip-chip to switch wheel sizes without disrupting the bike’s geometry.
- Devinci Spartan: Long-travel enduro machines are where Devinci makes its bones. The Spartan is the leader of that category, featuring carbon and aluminum versions. It includes flip-chip technology to accommodate 29-inch or mixed wheels. The adjustable geometry also allows for a longer and more stable geometry or a short and snappy ride feel. With 165mm of rear suspension travel and 170mm on the suspension fork, the Spartan is an aggressive enduro bike that can go fast anywhere.
- Devinci Chainsaw: The Devinci Chainsaw is the aggressive downhill bike of the group. It can skew more toward the enduro side of things or can be a pure downhill bomber, depending on which version you choose. Both versions include 170mm of rear shock travel, but the downhill specialist comes with 190mm at the front, 20mm more than the enduro version. The frame is Canadian-made with durable aluminum.

Devinci’s other bikes
Devinci is known for their mountain bikes, but they have some drop bar models as well, so everyone can explore in their own way. The brand also carries electric versions of some of their most popular models, giving performance options to the electric bike community. They even carry kids’ bikes, providing more advanced technology than you will typically find in a child's model.
- Devinci Hatchet: Devinci knows that some adventures require drop bars, so that is where the Hatchet comes in. The Hatchet gravel bike is available in a speed-first all-road version which has an aero carbon frame with great tire clearance and downtube storage. The Hatchet Vista is more about long adventures on mixed surfaces, including an aluminum frame with a more comfortable geometry and more room to mount bags and cargo.
- Devinci E-Troy: The E-Troy is an electric bike inspired by the top all-around trail bike in the Devinci lineup. The electric version of this ultra-capable trail bike includes a Bosch Performance Line SX drive unit to help propel your ride to new heights. It is a great choice for the rider who wants a performance full-suspension bike with an extra kick.
- Devinci Ewoc FS: The Ewoc FS is a full-suspension trail shredder for kids. It features an advanced design for a kid’s bike with a lower standover, custom specialised suspension kinematics, and an aggressive geometry that is usually hard to find when shopping for a kid’s bike.
