Newest Additions to the Upway Fleet

Here at Upway, we receive electric bikes everyday and begin our rigorous inspection, reconditioning process, and final checks before they hit our stock. We source high-quality electric bikes from a variety of channels so you can save big on an e-Bike from the top brands.

Bike manufacturers: Upway has strong relationships with popular bike brands like Aventon, Specialized, Rad Power, Cannondale, and more. These brands may send us overstock models, returns, or other like-new e-Bikes ready for a second-life.

Bike shops: We partner with bike shops all across the US, purchasing demo models or surplus e-Bikes. We also collaborate with bike shops with our Trade-In Programs, offering customers a voucher to use on a new e-Bike in-store when they trade in their used electric bike.

Individual sellers: Riders just like you may want to sell their used e-Bike or upgrade their ride. Upway makes it easy to sell your e-Bike, getting cash and giving your beloved bike a second life.

History and Inspection Report

At Upway, transparency is our thing. We include an in-depth History and Inspection Report for every electric bike in our catalog so you can know its exact information and condition. We also include the Ownership History to learn about the previous owner from whom we sourced the bike and when Upway purchased the e-Bike— in the New Arrivals section, odds are that we bought the bike within the past few weeks, fast! You’ll know when and where the e-Bike was last tested— either our Los Angeles or New York City UpCenters— as well as a Mechanic’s Note for any additional information.

Types of Electric Bikes

There’s an e-Bike for nearly every style of riding. Our collection of new arrivals to the Upway stock run the gamut from city commuters to hard-hitting electric mountain bikes— here’s a quick look at the most common types:

Mountain e-Bikes (e-MTBs)

Built for off-road adventures, e-MTBs come equipped with powerful pedal assistance, rugged tires, and sturdy suspension. Choose between hardtail or full-suspension depending on the terrain you're expecting. Most e-MTBs have a mid-drive motor and are designated as Class 1 e-Bikes.

Road & Gravel e-Bikes

Road e-Bikes are lightweight, efficient, and ideal for pavement, while gravel models are more rugged with wider tires and gearing for dirt and mixed surfaces. Some of these drop bar electric bikes are so sleek, you’d barely notice the motor, either mid-drive or rear hub.

City e-Bikes

Also called commuter or urban e-Bikes, these versatile e-Bikes are built for everyday riding with comfort-focused frames, built-in lights, racks, and sometimes front suspension. Swap out your bus, train, or car commute with a city e-Bike that gets around town with ease!

Cargo e-Bikes

Designed to carry serious loads, electric cargo bikes have extended frames and racks for groceries, gear, or kids. With an electric boost, they’re a solid car alternative for short trips. The extended wheelbase and step-thru frame makes them more stable and easy to hop on and off, even when loaded up with items.

Foldable e-Bikes

Electric bikes can be easy to store and transport, too. Folding e-Bikes collapse down via a simple mechanism at the center of the frame and along the steerer tube to save space in your home or fit inside your car.
