Maintaining tight quality control and adhering to high standards are crucial when it comes to refurbished electric bikes. Riders can buy with confidence, knowing that their e-Bike was professionally certified and passed through an exhaustive inspection checklist. At Upway, there’s a long list of standards that a refurbished electric bike must meet. Every bike must pass tests for headset, stem, suspension, dropper posts, kickstand, brakes, entire drivetrain, motor, wheels, tires, cable routing, cockpit, charger, battery, lights, and appearance.

Good starting ingredients lead to a great final dish. From the very start, Upway sources e-Bikes that are in good or like-new condition, from trusted brands, bike shops, and individual sellers. Also, Upway only accepts electric bikes with UL-certified batteries and electrical systems for safety and quality reasons. Even on the new models that have never been ridden, Upway conducts a complete inspection to double-check adherence to our standards and ensure great performance. UUpway does not accept especially old e-Bikes or models with missing components or structural damage.
