I want to get straight into this statistic because it's absolutely wild and blew my mind. The top versions of the Scott Fastlane weigh 9.9kg. This electric bike weighs the same as an entry- to mid-range road bike. I can’t stress enough how much of a marvel of engineering this is. Some e-Bike batteries weigh more than this bike.
It’s worth noting that for some of the Fastlane models, the max weight is 120kg, including the bike, you, and anything else you are carrying. This is generally down to the wheels and the intricate design of the carbon frame.
