Design And Model Variation
Both the Globe Haul and the Tern GSD are fantastic-looking cargo bikes. They are sleek, well-designed, and incredibly practical, with low weight and smart solutions. In my opinion, the Globe Haul is more refined in appearance, while the GSD is a little more rugged.
They both utilize smaller wheels and come in long and short versions. The Globe Haul is either ST (Short Tail) or LT (Long Tail). The Tern HSG (Short Tail) and the GSD (Long Tail). Both smaller models resemble traditional bikes, while the longer models are much more cargo-focused.

The Specialized is a very different animal compared to the Tern. Specialized has a 90 Nm motor in the rear hub that can reach 28mph. It’s playful, fast, and has some excellent torque to pull you up a hill or beat that road biker off the lights.
The Tern uses a mid-drive motor that sits where the pedals are. It has 85 Nm of torque and a max speed of 20mph with pedal assistance. It’s smoother and much more natural. I personally prefer a mid-drive, but they are both very good.

I tend not to speak much about range when reviewing e-Bikes because there are too many variables, and some brands' estimates are just terrible. Always take mileage figures with a pinch of salt, and I remove 20% for real-world riding.
