Yes, the price gap is big, but so is the difference in performance, components, how you buy the bike, and much more. You get what you pay for, and although Bulls might come at a premium, it’s worth spending if you have the money and it’s the type of bike you want.

Rad Power Bikes Current Situation!

Before we start answering your questions, we must discuss the current situation with Rad Power Bikes. In late 2025, they filed for bankruptcy and were bought by Life EV Group. They had a major battery recall on certain models due to the risk of fire and explosion.

Models included RadRunner, RadRover, and Radwagon. They did not proceed to a full recall while disputing safety claims and saying it would ruin the company. Plans are supposedly in place to replace batteries (partially subsidized) but it will probably be case by case. The new models, like the “Safe Shield,” are not affected.

The Difference In Ride Quality Between Rad Power And Bulls

When you ride a Rad Power Bike, it is designed to be powerful and responsive, and to be a tool to help you in daily life. Commuting to work. Taking the kids to school. shopping, etc. It's a punchy motor, and the assistance feels very robotic, unlike a traditional bike, but it’s not a bad thing.

Bulls are perfection. The assistance is smooth, the bike has a beautiful flow, and you feel like you're riding a top-spec mountain bike with the legs of an elite athlete. It’s really fun, and you get such a different experience from them both.
