Lowball offers, endless haggling, and the uncertainty of dealing with strangers can turn the process into more trouble than it’s worth.
We’re here to change that. Every e-Bike still has miles of joy to give, to a new rider, and to our planet. This program was built to make selling effortless, respectful, and fair. How do I get paid?
Will my quote ever change?
If the condition of the bike does not pass our inspection (matches your description), we will contact with you next steps. If the issues are repairable, we will offer an updated purchase price.
If the issues are beyond a certain level, we will contact you to arrange for the bike to be transported back at your own cost.
How do I package my bike?
Once you accept our offer you will need to prepare the bike for us to pick it up. Note that Upway covers the shipping costs. You will need to securely pack your bike in a closed cardboard box, in order to protect it during transport.
To box the bike you have 3 options:
- DIY - you can box it yourself, if you decide to go down this route feel free to take a look at how we do pack them ourselves (here)
- Go to your local bike shop - you will have to drop it off there and a fair price would be around $50-$100 (please note that you can ask them to recycle an old box)
- You can order a box through us for free: we have our own box that we can ship to you for free (there's a $50 refundable deposit)! Please note that the box will be shipped after you place the order, and it will take 2-5 business days to arrive.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Once you have shared with us the pickup address and dimensions of your box we will arrange the shipment for free and the carrier will show up on the scheduled day to pick up your bike.
