Aventon’s E-Bike History
In 2018, Aventon introduced its first electric bike, the Pace 500, shortly after releasing its third non-powered bike model. Aventon had already established itself as a reputable manufacturer of racing bikes. However, the company’s move to electric bikes demonstrated its dedication to innovation and making e-biking more accessible to the general public.
The Aventon Pace 500 was the first e-bike on the market to feature the same overall design as a traditional bike, helping riders and owners of classic bicycles complete the transition to electric biking. Following the success of this model and the subsequent release of the Pace 350, Aventon moved to a new facility in 2020, introduced the Aventure, Aventon’s first all-terrain eMTB in 2021, then ended production of fixie bikes to expand their e-bike model range.

Aventon Aventure 1 Step Through
The Aventure 1 Step Through belongs to Aventon’s first line of electric mountain bikes (eMTBs), the Aventure product family. All e-bikes in this product range feature fat, all-terrain tires, built-in front and rear fenders, and powerful electric motors to help riders cross nearly any terrain.
The Aventure 1 Step Through is the first-generation model, first released in 2021. It features a step-through frame style, eliminating the central frame bar in favor of a more open design. This frame style allows riders to sit comfortably upright, making mounting and dismounting more manageable, especially for riders with low mobility.
Aventure e-bikes are well-known for their 26” Kenda Krusade fat tires, featuring 4” of width and aggressive treads ideal for roads, trails, or cross-country applications. They also feature powerful 80 Nm electric motors and custom-designed 657 Wh battery packs, providing riders with long-lasting performance no matter where they take the bike.
The gearbox is a high-performance Shimano Acera 8-speed specially designed for trail riding, ensuring you always have access to the right gear and fast, smooth shifting even under challenging conditions.
Aventon Sinch
The Sinch is part of Aventon’s line of foldable electric bikes. It is among the few models on the market to combine the convenience and portability of a foldable e-bike with the all-terrain capabilities of an eMTB.
The Sinch is equipped with 4” wide Kenda Krusade fat tires and all-terrain treads. The Sinch 20” tire diameter keeps it lighter and more portable, ideal for city commuting.
The Sinch offers riders complete control over the electric motor’s power delivery with a combination of throttle and pedal assist. In all-electric mode, riders can let the Sinch carry them at up to 20 mph with a maximum range of 30 miles. In pedal assist mode, the 672 Wh battery’s maximum range varies from 38 miles at top speed to 71 miles at 10 mph.
Aventon Soltera
The Soltera is Aventon’s affordable city commuter e-bike offering, featuring a sleek design, seamlessly integrated low-profile bike lights, and an aggressive, forward-angled frame geometry reminiscent of the company’s racing bike heritage.
Despite the looks, the Soltera is a dependable e-bike for city cruising and daily commuting. Its 7-speed Shimano Tourney gearbox and slim Kenda road tires are well-suited for any street or asphalt road.
The electric motor is mounted to the rear hub and develops up to 50 Nm of torque, allowing riders to reach up to 20 mph. Its lightweight 346 Wh battery pack helps keep the bike’s overall weight down to just 42 lbs, offering riders 20 miles of autonomy in full-electric throttle mode and up to 63 miles in pedal-assisted mode.
