Co-op Cycles is REI’s in-house bike brand, known for dependable design, fair pricing, and nationwide service support. While many Co-op electric bike models are now discontinued, they remain highly sought after for their Bosch motors, versatile builds, and unbeatable value compared to similar e-Bikes from major brands. That makes them a smart pick for riders looking for quality without overpaying, and there are even better deals secondhand on Upway! Here’s a closer look at the Co-op Cycles brand and a comparison of its most popular e-Bikes.

👋  Welcome to Upway!

What are Co-op Cycles electric bikes?

Co-op Cycles is the house bike brand of the outdoor retailer REI, with a small fleet of electric models. There are plenty of non-electric bikes too, in addition to the e-MTB and urban e-Bikes from Co-op Cycles. The electric bikes are sold at REI locations across the US, where they can also be serviced throughout their lifespan. REI replaced its previous in-house bike brand, Novara, with the new brand Co-op Cycles.

As the brand launches new generations and versions of its e-Bikes, Co-op discontinues past models. These are the Co-op Cycles electric bikes that are currently on sale in 2026:

  • Co-op Cycles DRT e1.1
  • Co-op Cycles CTY e3.1
  • Co-op Cycles CTY e2.1
