These all sound a bit scary, but they won't necessarily ruin your day. Most of these error codes are informational or minor, and you can resolve some of them with basic checks. So, if you get one of these messages, don’t panic straight away; it might not be serious. Below is a list of all the Bosch ebike error codes you may come across. You can cross-reference the error code, what causes it, and what you need to do to fix it. As you will see, some are quite simple to fix.

Cause: An internal problem has been detected within the drive unit electronics or sensors.

Solution: This error requires diagnosis by a Bosch-certified dealer. Riding assistance is typically disabled until the issue is resolved.

Cause: The drive unit software is not operating correctly, often due to corrupted or incomplete software processes.

Solution: A dealer must reinstall or update the software using Bosch service tools.

Cause: There’s a serious internal motor fault, typically involving internal electronics or sensors.

Solution: You need to take it to a dealer for inspection. The motor may need repair or replacement.
