- Reserve Your Bike: Tell us which model you want (When you find 'the one,' copy the bike's name or URL). Chat with us live, email helpdesk@upway.shop, or just schedule a showroom visit.
- We Prep, You Relax: Our mechanics perform a 50-point inspection and prepare your bike for your specific riding needs.
- Pick up & Ride: Visit our Redondo Beach showroom for your scheduled "First Ride" session. We don't just process the payment & hand you the keys - we’ll adjust the saddle to your height, walk you through the display and motor modes, and ensure you’re 100% confident before you head out.
- Ride Worry-Free: You’re covered by professional insurance and our 6-month maintenance guarantee. If you need anything, our LA experts are just a chat away.
- Keep it, Swap it, or Buy it: After your 3-month minimum, you can return the bike with 7 days' notice, swap for a fresh model, or apply 25% of your payments toward owning it forever.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Is there a minimum subscription?
Yes, we ask for a 3-month commitment to get you fully acclimated to the e-bike lifestyle.
Can I swap my bike?
Once the 3-month initial period is over, you can change your bike and start a new subscription for a different bike.
What if I have an issue with my bike?
Contact us via the chat on the website or helpdesk@upway.shop! Coverage for warranty is included, and our team will get you back on the road quickly.
How do I return my bike?
Ready to wrap up? We require 14 days written notice before your next billing date. Just email us at helpdesk@upway.shop to schedule your return at our Redondo Beach UpCenter. Your subscription remains active until the bike, charger, and keys are returned.
What are the rules for theft protection?
To stay covered by our insurance, you must follow two simple rules: 1) Always lock the bike to a fixed, immovable object using a heavy-duty lock when unattended, and 2) Store the bike on private property overnight.
Can I use the bike for deliveries?
No. Upway Flex subscriptions are currently for personal use only. Using the bike for commercial delivery or business purposes is not permitted and will void your insurance coverage and maintenance plan.
Can I buy my bike if I love it?
Yes! If you decide to keep your ride permanently, we make it easy to transition to ownership. 25% of all your subscription payments to date will be applied as a credit toward the final purchase price of the bike.
How can I change the payment method?
You can change your payment method by logging into the subscription (link sent to you via e-mail after the order) or by contacting our support team at helpdesk@upway.shop
