THE ARTISTIC APPROACH

Jason's Vibrant & Colourful Canvas

"My collaboration with Upway is inspired by the energy of Brooklyn, visualized in full spectrum of color with electric hues and dynamic composition, which reflects the excitement of riding an Upway bike in the neighborhood. My vision supports the celebrations of Earth Month by inspiring those who see and ride these bikes to be bolder, brighter and better… and in turn doing their part to be better humans and making the world a better place." Jason Naylor

Jason uses spray paint, followed by a coating of varnish on each bike.

Katie's Graphic Essence

"I am deeply inspired by bikes—by the unparalleled freedom they offer and the enriched perspective they grant us on the world. That joy of moving freely through space on wheels combined with a joy of creating a very special language for each bike is similar to the joy of spring. A newness and a uniqueness is revealed with each bike creation. Each bike's inception is akin to cultivating a uniquely special flower. The warehouse serves as a vast canvas of potential movement and joy, waiting to become an integral part of someone's sense of liberation. Biking, Earth Month, and artistic expression—all are profoundly life-affirming pursuits. What an inspired combination they form for me!" Katie Merz.

Katie works with markers that she applies directly to the bike.

What does Upway’s default 1-year warranty cover?
Upway’s standard, default warranty covers against electric and mechanical failures of the bike (battery, motor, and mechanical defects) for one year after delivery of the bike. Upway does not cover defects in product appearance.
How does the return/exchange policy work?
Note that the customised e-Bikes are not eligible for returns and/or exchanges.
How does the shipping process work?
Great question! When you order a bike with Upway, you have a few options, depending on your preference of both speed and assembly required.

Parcel delivery (85% assembled)
This the most common way that retailers ship your bike! Your bike will be delivered 85% assembled (usually the pedals, handlebars, and front wheel are removed), so that the box will be small enough to fit through the parcel network.

Freight (99% assembled)
Upway also offers the revolutionary option for you to receive your bike 99% assembled! Set up takes just 5 minutes with this option, so you can hit the ground instantly. However, because of this, the packaging is too large to go through standard consumer mail services and instead must go through freight shipping, which is traditionally a B2B service.
